Funeral services will be at 11 am Tuesday at Platt's Funeral Home, Crawford Avenue, with the Revs Ficklen Guin, Kevin Minchey and Daryl Odom officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr Bignon, a native of Augusta, was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Double Branch Baptist Church. He was also a retired tool maker, a member of John S Davidson Lodge No 677 and a member of Lincoln County Farm Bureau. Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Ann Andrews; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bryan Joseph Brown, Benjie Rentz, Wyatt Fuller, Mickery Reville, Lindsey Reville and Tal Poss. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Socttish Rite. Memorials may be made to the Scottis Rite Children's Hospital or Baptist Children's Hospital. Platt's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
