Mrs Julia Lucky
Mrs Julia Kendrick Lucky, 85, of Route 1, Appling, Ga, died in an Augusta 
nursing home Sunday after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday at Poteet Funeral Home Chapel 
with the Rev AH Simmons Officiating.  Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Born in Columbia County, she had lived all her life in Columbia and Richmond 
Counties.  She was the daughter of the late Lucius F Kendrick and Mary 
Elizabeth Marshall Kendrick and the widow of Arthur William Lucky Sr.
She was a member of Warren Baptist Church and of the Annie Wheeler Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, AW Lucky Jr, Augusta nd Alven K Lucky, Appling; 
five grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and 
nephews.
