The Rev Virgil Nation will officiate. Burial will be in West View Cemetery. A native of Graniteville, SC, she was the daughter of the late JC and Emma J Metz Platt. She had lived in Augusta most of her life. She was the widow of John W Creasy and a member of St Luke Methodist Church. She was a member of Mize Bible Class and WSCS of St Luke. She was also a member of the American Legion Post No 63, Annie Wheeler Auxiliary, Spanish War Veterans, Senior Citizens Club, Age Club, Silver Threads Club. She had contributed 13,900 hours as a volunteer at Veterans Administration Hospital. She was recently awarded a certificate dor outstanding work in this volunteer program. Survivors include two nieces, Mrs Janet Garrison and Miss Lucile Beatse, both of Augusta; and nephew, James C Beatse, Augusta; and other relatives.
