Arthur Williamson, Auto Wreck Victim, to be Buried Today
Funeral services for Arthur (Buddie) Williamson, 30 year old resident of 1357 
Walton Way who died at a local infirmary from injuries sustained in an 
automobile accident Sunday afternoon on the Deans Bride road, will be held this 
afternoon at 3 o'clock at Elliott's Funeral Home.  The Rev G.F. Tyner will 
officiate and interment will follow in the West View cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be SA Barton, Elson spires, Tom Buck, Carl Greene, Hoke 
Hendrix, and Eddie Turner.
The following will serve as honorary pallbearers; Dr Will Jennings, George P 
Elliot, George Hains, John Chambers, MO Matthews, Sweeney Sikes, TE Norris, 
Isaac S Peebles, Hy T Farris, Judge AL Franklin, Chief Will U Redd, Sheriff 
Gary Whittle, "Doc" Norvell, and Chester Jones.
Mr Williamson had been a resident of Augusta all of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Ruth Jones Williamson; son , Arthur B 
Williamson Jr; father Arthur W Williamson; five brothers Fred W Williamson, 
Willie M Williamson, HE Williamson, George P Williamson, and Clarence 
Williamson; six sisters, Mrs Edwin McMahon, Mrs Harvey Lee Huffman, Mrs James 
Taylor, Miss Malinda Williamson, Miss Virgie Mae Williamson, and Ramona 
Williamson; and six aunts, Mrs CW Elliot, Mrs Fannie Williamson, Mrs Lula 
Padgett, and Mrs Lizzie Snellings of Evans, GA
