H. Vaughn, 210 East Arlington Heights, North Augusta, South Carolina, after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at Crawford Avenue Baptist Church this afternoon at 5 o'clock. The Rev. C. A. Dabnry will officiate.Interment will be in West View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the following grandsons; Marion Hall, Harry Watkins, Holley Watkins, Charles Kopp, James B. Kopp and Robert G. Kopp. Mrs. Parks, a native of Kosciusko, Miss. had been a resident of Augusta for 65 years and was the oldest living member of the Crawford Avenue Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Annie Walker circle and was active in all departments in her church. Of a gentle and retiring nature, Mrs, Parkes was loved by a wide circle of friends who will regrett to hear of her death. The body will be at the residence of another daughter, Mrs. Thelma Parks Watkins, 295 Milledge Road until the hour of the funeral. Survivors are: one son Holly T. Parks of Atlanta: three daughters, Mrs. Martha Parks Hall, Mrs. Watkins and Mrs. Vaughn: eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
