DEIED on Wednesday last, Mr. Henry Stuerman, late merchant of this place, a 
native of Holland, and of a very reputable connections in that country; his 
remains were attended to the place of interment by a number of most respectable 
citizens in the neighborhood; and having been of the Augusta artillery, that 
corps accompanied the funeral and paid the usual military honors to the memory 
of the deceased.

Beyond the ruthless blast of time,
Poor Stuerman now we find;
Who while on earth did ne'er design,
An evil to mankin.

If truth and candor pave the way,
To yonder shingin sky;
Then truth and candor sure must they,
Receive him up on high.

An heart that weeps at others woes,
And Seeks to quiet strife;
 
Will surely meet a calm repose,
Beyond this troubl'd life.
