                    MRS. WILLIE THOMPSON HOMEMAKER
Mrs. Willie Mae Thompson, 88, of 2512 Pate Ave., died Friday, Jan. 24, 1997. 
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia 
Road, with Audley Roberts, Gerald Proctor, Max Hicks and the Rev. Edward 
Thompson officiating. Burial will be in West View Cemetery. 
Mrs. Thompson, a native of Johnson County, Ga., lived most of her life in 
Augusta. She was a homemaker and a member of Augusta Primitive Baptist Church. 
Survivors include a son, Grady O. Thompson, Augusta; a daughter, Vera Elliott, 
Augusta; and six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. 
Pallbearers will be Ken Thompson, David ''Bubba'' Thompson, Allan Proctor, 
Mike Elliott, Mark Elliott and Robert Hoover. 
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church. 
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home

Willie was born 28 Aug 1908. Georgia death certificate #004199. Her husband 
was Robert "Robbie" D. Thompson.
