WILLIE THOMPSON HOMEMAKER Mrs. Willie Mae Thompson, 88, of 2512 Pate Ave., died Friday, Jan. 24, 1997. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Columbia Road, with Audley Roberts, Gerald Proctor, Max Hicks and the Rev. Edward Thompson officiating. Burial will be in West View Cemetery. Mrs. Thompson, a native of Johnson County, Ga., lived most of her life in Augusta. She was a homemaker and a member of Augusta Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Grady O. Thompson, Augusta; a daughter, Vera Elliott, Augusta; and six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ken Thompson, David ''Bubba'' Thompson, Allan Proctor, Mike Elliott, Mark Elliott and Robert Hoover. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church.
