Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 14 Sep 1976
Miss Brenda Lee Verneau, 16, of Augusta, Ga., died Sunday in an Augusta hospital. A
native of Huntsville, Alabama, she had lived in Augusta for the last three years.
She was a senior at George P. Butler High School and was a member of the Prince of
Peace Lutheran Church in Latrobe. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Wilford Verneau, Jr., formerly of Latrobe, two sisters Debbie of Latrobe and
Kathleen at home, two brothers, Bruce of Fort Meade, Md., and Scott, of Fort
Jackson, South Carolina; maternal grandmother Mrs. Estelle Forsha of Latrobe;
paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Verneau, Sr., of Latrobe; maternal
great-grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Forsha of Oakmont, Pa.,  and paternal
great-grandmother, Mrs. Albertina Verneau of Latrobe. Funeral services were held at
3 pm Tuesday in the Lutheran Church of the Ascension, the Rev. W. Osborne Herlong
officiating.
