The Augusta Chronicle
The Augusta Chronicle dated 1-17-1923, Wednesday.

Whiting Bradford West died yesterday afternoon at six o'clock at his home, 6 
miles out on the Washington Road, after an illness of only twenty four hours. 
He was 67 years old.
The funeral services will be conducted at the Warren Baptist Church 6 miles 
out on the Washington Road this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, Rev. E.C. Sheridan 
officiating. Interment will follow in the Abbeline Cemetery.
The deceased is survivied by his wife Lillie F. West: three daughters, Mrs. 
Ben Gardner, Mrs. Gary Gardner, of Martinnez, Ga, and Mrs. Hugh Mills, of 
Albany, Ga.: five granchildren; four brothers, Judge C.L. West, of Evans, Ga.: 
E.R. West, of Albany, Ga.; Julian West of Carrs, Ga., and W.G. West, of 
Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. L.E. Parrott, of Albaby, Ga.
