To the Memory
OF
CHARLES E. CLARK
Born Nov. 7th. 1805.
Died Dec. 12th. 1854.
Perseverance, Temperance, Honesty, and Piety
were prominent traits in his character.
He lived long an active and consistant
member of the M.E. Church,
and died in full assurance of
a blessed immortality.
Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.
Soldier of Christ, well done.
Praise be thy new employ.
And while eternal ages run,
Rest in thy Savior’s joy..
