Additional Comments:
This cemetery was once the cemetery of Linwood Methodist Sunday School and 
Church, in a settlement called Pinetucky, near Berzelia, Georgia. The area was 
bought by the U.S. Government in 1941 for the purpose of building up Camp 
Gordon in the wake of World War ll.
The Fort maintains the cemeteries located within it's boundries. This cemetery 
is listed as "Cemetery # 30, Lietner Cemetery" and is located at the 
intersection of Gibson and Jones Chapel Roads, in Training Area # 35.
