The wedding was quietly solemnized in the presence of a few close friends at the home of Mr Wiley Adams, of Dublin. The nuptial background was very effective with seven branch candelabra holding white cathedral tapers, interspersed with baskets of holley, intertwined with Smilax. The bride was dressed in an advance spring model of paradise blue sheer crepe, with shearing at the neck and sleeves, and with a short jacket of the same material. The skirt was fitted to the hips, and then flared in a graceful hemline. With this she wore a pillbox turban in winter rose grosgrain. Her accessories were of black suede and winter rose. Her only ornament was an old fashioned necklace of gold and rosepoint pendants. The couples attendants were Miss Audrey Harrison and Mr Ivey O'Neal, of Dublin, GA. Mrs Sanders is the daughter of Mrs Amy A Hallman and the late Thomas W Hallman, of this city. She has made her home in Augusta all her life, and is a graduate of Tubman High school, and the Junior College of Augusta. Since her graduation she has been connected with a prominent business firm of this city. Her maternal grandparents were, Mrs Virginia C Altee, of this city and the late John W Altee. Her paternal grandparents are Mrs Sarah T Hallman of Bessemer, Ala and the late Thomas E Hallman. Mr Sanders is the son of Mr WE Sanders, and the late Mrs Agnes Toole Sanders, of this city. Mr Sanders has made his home in Augusta all his life, until recently he was transferred to Dublin as manager of the Sims stores there. He received his education at the Richmond Academy, and has made countless friends through this section. After the ceremony, Mr and Mrs Sanders were entertained at the home of Mr O'Neal, with only a few close friends attending.
