Given under my hand as Clerk of the Court of Ordinary of the county aforesaid, this 6th day of April 1816. The transcription is as follows: GEORGIA KNOW all Men by these Presents, That we Thomas GLASCOCK & James MORGAN are held and firmly bound unto the Court of Ordinary of Richmond County, in the sum of EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY-SEVEN DOLLARS and FOURTEEN CENTS, to which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, sealed with our seals and dated this sixth day of April 1816. The condition of the above Obligation is such, That, Whereas there is a MARRIAGE intended to be Solemnized between the above named James MORGAN and Mary DATHNEY now if there be no lawful cause to obstruct the same, then this Obligation to be void, else to remain in full force and virtue.
