Parents of the bride are Mr and Mrs Alfred Joseph Zeller. The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs William Garland Harris Sr. Mr Harris was his son's best man. Ushers were William Garland Harris Jr, brother of the groom; Ronnie Easler, cousin of the groom; Charles Mears, cousin of the groom; Emmett Renfroe; Danny Renew; Alan Connell; Danny Connell and Jim Kinnett. Miss Marlene Zeller was her sister's maid of honor. Her floor-length A-line gown of mint green crepe was fashioned with an Empire bodice featuring an oval neckline and short sleeves outlined in white Venice lace accented with green velvet ribbon. The grain fell from a back yoke of lace. She carried a bouquet of white daisies and yellow pompons. Mrs Faye Harris, sister in law of the groom, was matron of honor. She was gowned identically to the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs Carolyn Hobbs, Miss Jackie white, Mrs Martha Foss, Miss Marian Tobin, Miss Sonnie Jane Arnold and Miss Pat Chastain. Junior bridesmaids was Miss Tina Marie Zeller, sister of the bride. They wore identical gowns of maize crepe. Flower girl, Miss Valerie Buck, also wore a gown of maize crepe and carried a baskets of daisies. Ringbearer was Patrick Scott, cousin of the bride. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-length gown of Chantilly lace designed with an Empire bodice and contour neckline outlined in lace medallions reembroidered with seed pearls and aurora crystals. Her long lace sleeves ended in points over the hands. Her aisle-wide cathedral length Watteau train was outlined in lace scallops. Her cathedral length bouffant veil fell from a lace headpiece outlined in seed pearls, and she carried a cascade of bouquet of white roses, carnations and Stephanotis. Following a reception held at the Augusta Woman's Club house, the couple left for a wedding trip of unannounced destination. They will live in Augusta.
