Phinizy to take good care of her grandmother, Mrs. Sarah McKeen by providing her comfortable board and clothing; however, if she the said Mrs. McKeen prefers boarding elsewhere than in the family I wish her paid four hundred dollars per annum payable annually during her life. This legacy to cease or stop at her death; and commence from and after my decease. Second~~I will and give unto my brother, Thomas J. Bowdre during his life five hundred dollars per annum payable annually. This legacy to cease or stop at his death and to commence from and after my decease. Third~~I will and give unto my daughter Harriet H. Phinizy and her heirs all the remainder of my estate, both real and personal, of whatsoever kind it may be, which I may posses at the time of my death, after paying all my just debts. Fourth~~I hereby appoint Ferdinand Phinizy and his wife Harriet H. my executors of this my last will and testament, with authority fully to wind and settle up my affairs and sell property if necessary to do so, without any order from any court whatsoever. Boisclair Paul Rossignal Joseph Milligan Hays Bowdre (Seal) State of Georgia Richmond County In open court personally appeared Joseph Milligan and Ferdinand Phinizy who being duly sworn say that the annexed and foregoing paper propounded by the said Ferdinand Phinizy for probate, is the last will and testament of Hays Biwdre, deceased; and the said Joseph Milligan further saith that the testator, the said Hays Bowdre, deceased, did sign, seal, declare and publish the said instrument nor presented, as his last will and testament, freely, voluntarily and of his own accord, and without any compulsion or influence whatever, that at the time of the execution of the said will, to wit, on the day of the date thereof, the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory and that this deponent Joseph Milligan and Michael F. Boisclair and Paul Rossignol, then and there, in the presence of said testator, and at his special request, and in the presence of each other, signed said will as subscribing witnesses to the due execution thereof. Sworn to in open court 3rd November 1856 Foster Blodget Jr., Ordinary Joseph Milligan Ferdinand Phinizy Georgia Richmond County RE: The Will of Hays Bowdre, deceased In the Court of Ordinary of said County the last will and testament of the said Hays Bowdre, deceased, late of said county, having been this day produced in court by Ferdinand Phinizy one of the executors therein named and the same having been proven to the satisfaction of the court, upon the oathe of said executor and of Joseph Milligan, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto~~it is Ordered by the Court That the said last will and testament of said Hays Bowdre deceased, be admitted to record, and that the executor be permitted to qualify. Noivember 3rd, 1856 Georgia Richmond County~~~ IN the court of ordinary for Richmond County. I, Ferdinand Phinizy, do solemnly swear that the foregoing writing contains the true last will and testament of the foregoing named Hays Bowdre, deceased, so fair as I know or believe, and that I will well and truly executre the same, by paying first the debts, and then the legacies contained in said will, as far as his goods and chattels will thereunto extend, and the law charge me, and that I will make a true and perfect inventory of all such goods and chattels: So help me God!
