I John Garvin of the City of Augusta, County of Richmond, and State of Georgia, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory; blessed be almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last Will and testament, that is to say, First. Second. Should it please the Almighty, that my said son Ignatius, should not live to be twenty three years of age, and should die without leaving any lawful Heirs of his body; then, in that case, It is my Will, that all my Estate, both real and personal, be given, devised, and bequeathed to William Few, the brother of my wife Sarah, and I do give, devise and bequeath the same, above enumerated in the first Items of this my last Will, to the said William Few, and to his Heirs for ever. Third. It is further my Will, that my said Wife Sarah, shall be, and is hereby ordained and appoionted Executrix, and that John Howard be, and is hereby ordained and appointed Executor, to this my last Will and testament, and, that my said wife Sarah, and the said John Howard, be, and they, and each of them, are hereby appointed Guardians, or Guardian, to my said Son Ignatius, untill he shall arrive to the age of twenty three years. Fourth. It is further my Will, that if my said wife Sarah, should die, or mary, before my said son Ignatius, arrives to the age of twenty three years; then, in either case, the said John Howard, Executor and Guardian, as aforesaid, shall have, and is hereby visited with the exclusive and sole management of my said Estate. It is also my Will, that my said wife Sarah, shall continue in possession of all my said Estate and receive her maintainance out of the use of it, untill she may marry, or shall depart this life.
