Peek lost several bushels of apples by the late freeze, didn’t have enough cover on them. ~Mr. David Vaughn has lately borrowed an artesian well at a cost of $330, which affords an abundant supply of water, and he is no longer opposed to the stock law. ~Miss Lizzie Peek’s school now numbers 33 students which speaks well for her. Miss Lizzie is an accomplished young lady and well deserves the liberal patronage of the community. ~Mr. Mosely is now going to school to Prof. Guinn. The professor seems to be a favorite with most of the boys. The compliment is a deserving one, too. ~And now, Messrs.
