The Solid South
IT WILL BE BUILT AT AN EARLY DAY.
  Last Wednesday morning Maj. John W. Green and Supervisor Robinson came up
to locate our new depot. The place selected is situated on the North side of
the railroad opposite the water tanks. It will face Center street forty-five
feet and run down the railroad 189 feet, making a splendid building. It will
be built on the most modern style with all necessary attachments. Two nice 
waiting rooms will be built, one for the supply of the depot with all 
necessary water.
  The storage capacity is to be ample for all freight accommodations,
storage, etc.
  This building when finished will be a great addition to the city and will 
be a great comfort and convenience to the traveling public.
  It will be one of the best, if not the best, depot on the line.
