Solid South,  December 19, 1885
Mr. Jinks Brantly, after a protracted illness, died at his home near Smyrna 
last Monday morning. His funeral was preached Tuesday evening by Rev. W. F. 
ROBINSON at the Methodist Church in this place and his remains were consigned 
to their final resting place in Rockdale Cemetery. He was about 18 years old.
