Mr. William T. Butler, Well-Known Conyers Citizen, Is Buried

CONYERS, Ga., June 18 - Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Mr. 
William T. Butler, one of the best known citizens of this section, who died 
Tuesday night at his home at the age of 91 years.  He was born here and lived 
for several years in Marietta and Acworth, but returned to Conyers some time 
ago and resided at the old Butler homestead.

He is survived by seven children, W. T. Butler, Jr., of Conyers; R. T. Butler, 
Jr., of Marietta; Mrs. F G. Rutledge, of Atlanta; Mrs. A. B. McMichen; Miss 
Addie Butler, John Butler and Greene Butler, all of Los Angeles; two sisters, 
Mrs. Sarah Smith, of College Park, and Mrs. C. A. Meadows of Cobb county; and 
five brothers, R. E. Butler, of Atlanta; E. W. Butler, of College Park; E. T. 
Butler, of Bremen; Y. D. Butler and E. H. Butler, both of Douglasville.
