Conyers Times, May 8, 1942

Mrs. W. C. Burnett Passes Away - Guneral [sic] services for Mrs. W. C. 
Burnett, 68, who died Friday in a private sanitarium in Atlanta, were held 
Sunday from the Almon Baptist Church, with the Rev. Waymon Fields and the Rev. 
Charlie Turner officiating.  Interment was in the East View cemetery in 
Conyers.  Mrs. Burnett, a prominent citizen of Rockdale, is survived by her 
husband; two sons, C. J. and W. G. Burnett, of Conyers and a sister, Miss 
Bulah Burnett, of Atlanta.  Those out of town attending the funeral of Mrs. 
Burnett were: Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Burnett, Mrs. Bula Burnett and Mr. W. C. 
Burnett, of Atlanta, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Burnett.
