DEATHS
     Mrs. Nancy Dempsey, age 67 years, died very suddenly at the home of Mr. C. 
D. Bennett, near McDaniels Mill, last Friday.
     Mrs. Dempsey was a noble Christian lady and was a member of the Methodist 
Church here for many years.
     She is survived by five children, one brother, Mr. John H. Almand, and one 
sister, Mrs. Sofronia Almand.
     The remains were brought here Saturday and after services by Rev. Ellis 
the remains were laid to rest in the Almand Cemetery. The BANNER extends 
sympathy to the bereaved.
