Mr. Joel D. Echols Answers Last Call
     Mr. Joel D. Echols died Saturday morning, March 21, at 2 o’clock. He had 
been in failing health for a year or two and had been very feeble of late. His 
passing was not unexpected by his friends, who include all that knew him.
     He was born and reared north of Conyers in Gwinnett and Rockdale counties, 
and was well known to every one around Conyers. He was 82 years old. He leaves 
his wife, four sons and one daughter to mourn this passing. Truly, a good man 
hath died.
