Conyers Weekly Banner, March 4, 1904
     Mrs. Hamby, wife of C. C. Hamby, who has been sick since December, died at 
her home in Covington last Tuesday. The remains were brought to Conyers 
Wednesday and carried to the home of her mother-in-law, Mrs. Jane Mann, where 
the funeral was conducted by Elder John F. Almand after which the remains were 
laid to rest in the family burying ground. The deceased leaves a husband and 
ten children and many relatives and friends to mourn her death and to these the 
BANNER extends sincere sympathy.
