The Solid South, July 10, 1886
     Miss Orrie Hollingsworth, near Smyrna, died last Friday night and was 
buried at Smyrna Sunday morning. Her father, Mr. Jim H. Hollingsworth died 
Monday evening and was buried at Smyrna Tuesday evening. Thus three of the 
family, the father, a lovely young lady and a little boy have died within the 
last month. The grief stricken family have the sympathy of the entire county. 
It was difficult to find a better and purer man than Mr. Jim H. Hollingsworth. 
He was about 45 years of age and was for several years an elder in the 
Presbyterian church. Fitting tributes to the memory of Mr. Hollingsworth and 
his daughter will appear in our next number.
