A SAD DEATH
  Thursday evening little Viola, the five year old daughter of Dr. and Mrs.
Hardwick met with a horrible accident which resulted in death. She was alone
in the room and in some way her clothing caught on fire and before the flames
could be extinquished she was so painfully burned that recovery was impossible,
but she lingered until Friday morning when death relieved her suffering.
  Funeral services will be held this morning at ten o'clock at the Methodist
church. Mr. and Mrs. Hardwick have the sympathy of all their friends in their
sad bereavement.

Additional Comments:
There is a second obit. Parts are unreadable, so I decided not to transcribe it.
It states that Viola was born Nov. 2, 1886. She was 5 years, 1 month and 9 days
of age.
