The Solid South, January 23, 1886
     Mrs. V. E. Lowe, an aged lady of Sheffield district, died at her home on 
the 8th inst. She was buried at Philadelphia Church on the 9th. She was a good 
Christian lady. She was a sister to ‘Squire W. H. Trimble. Notice of her death 
was written for our last issue, but for some unknown cause the manuscript was 
destroyed.
