J. L. LUPO DEAD This venerable and much beloved man of God passed peacefully away last Tuesday night about 9 o'clock. Mr. Lupo had been sick for some time, but had recovered sufficiently to be out for the past few days. Last Tuesday he visited Mr. S. J. Cowan returning home in the evening apparently none the worse for the trip. He retired about his usual time and soon his wife discovered that he was in a dying condition. She then gave alarm and the neighbors gathered in but before they could reach his bedside the spirit had taken its flight. If ever there was one ready to go at the Master's call it was Rev. J. L. Lupo. He lived in all the walks of life a perfect christian. He devoted his life to the bause of God and has gone to receive his reward- to hear those blessed words from the lips of the Master "well done good and faithful servant." His funeral was preached at the Methodist Church Thursday morning at half past 9 o'clock by Rev. H. M. Quillian in a touching manner after which his remains were buried in East View Cemetery. A good man has gone to his reward. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
