The Solid South, February 20, 1886
     Mrs. Marks died at her home in Atlanta last Friday. She was about 82 years 
old. She was brought to this place Sunday morning. Her funeral was preached at 
the First Baptist Church by Rev. J. M. Brittain, after which she was buried in 
the Rockdale Cemetery. She was for a number of years a citizen of this place. 
She was a consistent and faithful member of the Baptist Church.
