  At Conyers, Ga., on Saturday evening, Feb. 20th, about 5 o'clock, Mrs. MARTHA
MADDOX, wife of William Maddox, in the 78th year of her age.
  She was born in Orange county, N. C. and took upon herself the marriage vow, 
on the 5th day of November, 1809, which she faithfully observed for over 59 
years, during which time she was a quiet,loving wife, an affectionate mother, 
and kind neighbor. Although she never attached herself to any church, yet 
before she died she expressed a hope of Heaven.
