Mrs. Wm. L. Peek
     Mrs. Peek, of Rockdale County, wife of Hon. Wm. L. Peek, departed this 
life on Saturday last, and was buried Sunday. Rev. H. Quigg conducted the 
funeral services. Mrs. Peek was one of the best and noblest ladies in Georgia, 
being kind and generous to everybody. She was a gentle Christian lady whose 
death will be mourned by all who knew her. May she sleep sweetly.
