     The funeral of Mrs. W. H. Read, who died September 24, was held Sunday, 
September 26th. Services were conducted at her home with Rev. Fowler and Rev. 
Sears, of Lithonia, officiating. Interment was in East View cemetery.
     Mrs. Read, who was Miss Georgia Richardson, died while on a visit to her 
girlhood home in Dalton, Ga. She is survived by her husband, Mr. W. H. Read, 
and one son, Cosby S. Read, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., one daughter, Mrs. Charlie 
Read Lunsford, one granddaughter, Miss Sara Read Lunsford, two sisters, Misses 
Nan and Ella Richardson, two brothers, Messrs. R. D. S. and Victor Richardson, 
of Dalton, Ga. and Will S. Richardson, of Augusta.
