Dr. J. A. Stewart Dead
     One of Conyers most highly esteemed citizens died at his home in Rockdale
early Wednesday morning. He has been prominent in politics for a number of 
years, and was considered as one of the best and truest men.
     He was a prominent Mason in the state and for fifty years a steward in the 
Methodist church. In the death of Dr. Stewart the county and state loses a good
man, and his place will be hard to fill.
