He was such a bright, promising young man and we all learned to love him. And now to the bereaved ones: Your loving son, brother and friend I know is dead. All I can say to you in response, sorrowing with you but with utter faith and hope in Heaven, is be comforted. God is his own interpreter, and he will make it plain. Think your loving Brother's life was a blessed reality, not a dream, a vision, as in the fate of many, many yearning lives. So a changeless verity your loving Brother remains, only for a while separated from you for some glorious reason of God's own. In the infinite tenderness of His care he remains forever at his best and sweetest. Nay, you must sorrow not, unless, indeed, you sorrow for the brotherless ones who may not look to find in Heaven oven the brother denied them here. O weep not that he, for the rapture of Heaven, Hath fled, to the clime of content and accord. Mourn not that to him the white garment is given. For blessed are they who die in the Lord. Well, well, dost know that the hearts of brother. But still rejoice that he's an angel, above. Let me come in where you sit weeping- aye, Let me who has a brother to die Weep with you far the one's love I knew something of. The loving arms that slowly, slowly loosed. The pressure 'round your neck; the lips you Used to kiss, such arms, such lips I knew, May I not come in and weep with you. Fain would I be of service, say something, Between the tears, that would be comforting. As you are now it will soon be I For my brother is yet to die.
