The Solid South, February 6, 1886
     Mrs. REBECCA WHITLOW died at her home in Sheffield district last Monday 
morning about 10 o’clock, after ?? days illness. She was born and raised near 
the place of her death and was about 62 years. She had been a member of the 
Methodist Church for near fifty years and was triumphant in the faith. Her 
remains were buried at Rock Chapel, ????day. Rev. M. L. Underwood conducting 
the funeral services. She leaves a host of  relatives and friends who mourn her 
sudden death.

Georgia, Rockdale County
     To all persons concerned: Whereas, E. J. BOND, of DeKalb County, has, in 
proper form, made application to the court of ordinary for permanent letters of 
administration on the estate of Mrs. REBECCA A. WHITLOW, late of said county 
deceased, and I will pass upon said application on the first Monday in April, 
1886, at 10 o’clock a. m. This Feb. 18th, 1886.
