O. LEFTWICH. The living room and dining room, which were thrown together, were artistically decorated with smilax. The altar was of ferns and baskets of pink dahlias. Before the ceremony, Mrs. C. K. GAILEY sang “Because.” She was lovely in a creation of lavender georgette. The bridal party entered to the strains of Lohengrin’s Wedding March, which was played by Miss MARY HEWLETT. Miss HEWLETT wore a lace dress over gold satin. Entering first was Miss ELIZABETH GOODWIN, of Atlanta, wearing a dress of black crepe with hat to match, carrying a bouquet of pink rosebuds. Next came little EVELYN LEFTWICH, a cousin of the bride, carrying a pink basket from which she scattered rose petals in the path of the bride. The bride and groom entered together. The bride was never more lovely than on her wedding night. She wore a midnight blue dress trimmed in silver lace. Her hat was blue, edged with silver. She carried a bouquet of white rosebuds showered with valley lilies. The ceremony was performed by Rev. T. M. CALLOWAY. After the ceremony, an informal reception was held. Misses SARA HEWLETT, ____ _____ and MARY BRANHAM LEFTWICH served. The out-of-town guests included many of the bride and groom’s friends from Atlanta.
