Joseph Albert Clotfelter, of Conyers, at the Presbyterian church at Stone Mountain Wednesday night was one of the most beautiful weddings witnessed there in a long time. The church was prettily decorated with ferns and flowers that abound on the mountain. The attendants were Misses Mamie McClelland and Minnie Clotfelter and Messrs. Robert Almand and Patrick Geislin. The ceremony was performed in the presence of the large audience by Dr. Henry Quigg in his most beautiful and impressive style. The bride is the second daughter of Rev. J. F. McClelland, deceased, and is a refined and cultured young woman loved by scores of friends throughout the state. The groom is a young minister of much ability and great promise. He has gradually risen since leaving college, and is now one of the foremost young divines of the Presbyterian Church. He richly deserves the fair prize he has won. After the ceremony a reception was tendered the party at the home of the bride’s mother. The happy couple with several friends, arrived here Thursday morning and were splendidly entertained by the parents of the groom. The WEEKLY-BANNER extends congratulations.
