The Solid South, June 27, 1891
  Last Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock, Mr. John I. Rosser and Miss Nora Head
were married at the residence of the bride's father Mr. Warren Head, Rev. H. M.
Quillian officiating. After the marriage Mr. Rosser and his bride with the 
many friends who went out with him, returned to his home in the city. Many
of the friends of the contracting parties gathered at Mr. Rosser's in the
evening and spent the time in a social way. Refreshments were served in 
profusion and the crowd enjoyed the evening very much. On Thursday a magnificent
dinner was served at which many of the friends of Mr. and Mrs. Rosser were
present. In the language of Mr. John W. Almand, who was present, "It was all
that eye could wish or appetite desire." All in all the occasion was one to be 
long remembered by the participants. Long live Mr. and Mrs. Rosser to enjoy
many more such dinners on anniversary occasion.
