SMITH-PEEK
  Thursday evening at the residence of Col. W. L. Peek in this county, his
daughter Miss Lulu was married to Mr. H. L. Smith, of this place, Rev. H. M.
Quillian pronouncing the ceremony in an appropriate and pleasing manner.
  This marriage united the lives of two young people who have always been
leaders and favorites in society here and elsewhere and it is indeed a large
circle of friends who are joining congratulations and good wishes, bespeaking
for them much happiness and prosperity.
  The marriage was witnessed only by the immediate relatives of the bride and
groom. After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the Lawson House, where
Mr. and Mrs. Smith will be at home to their friends.
