The Solid South, May 9, 1891
  Wednesday the 29th of April, at the residence of the bride's parents in
Dearmanville, Ala., Mr. Will Scott, of this county was married to Miss Jessie
May Blackmon.
  The happy couple with their friends arrived here on the fast train in the
evening and went to the home of Mr. Scott, when they were tendered a reception
by Mr. Scott's mother. Mr. Scott is one of our progressive young farmers and
has a bright future before him. Miss Blackmon is a beautiful and intelligent
young lady and from the first families of the Choccolloc Valley.
  The many friends of Mr. Scott extend to his lovely bride a hearty welcome
and wish for them both all possible happiness.
