The Georgia Enterprise, March 1, 1888
     Mr. John I. Dennard was married to Miss Lizzie Plunkett one day last week, 
Dr. Quigg officiated. All of Rockdale County.

Additional Comments:

John Isaiah Dennard was the son of John Isaiah Dennard, Sr. and his wife, 
Arminda Malinda Thrower.

Martha Elizabeth "Lizzie" Plunkett was the daughter of John P. Plunkett and his wife, 
Rosannah Hollingsworth.

Together John and Lizzie had five sons:  Ernest Luther, Reuben Guest (named Ruby in 
the census records as his mother insisted that boy or girl, the new baby would be 
Ruby - Reuben's first grade teacher changed it to Reuben and that was his name 
from then on), Otis Thrower, Hewlett Price (1898-1901) and John Harold.
