John Rodolph Jordan, Sr. born Nov 20, 1880 , died Mar 15, 1956 buried in 
Ellaville Cem. Married  Dec 24, 1904 in Buena Vista, GA,  Elizabeth Williams 
born Sept 15, 1880 died Nov 15, 1962 also buried in Ellaville Cem. John was a 
physician, ed. Emory Univ. School of Medicine. He was the son of Sidney Jasper 
Jordan and Georgia Ann Battle and the grandson of Cullen Lazarus Battle and 
Mary Elizabeth Countryman.
