Anna Parmely Stevens Wooten was born September 29, 1849 in Putnam, Marion 
County, GA, and died  July 4, 1916 in Buena Vista, Marion County, GA.  She was 
the daughter of Hampton and Attalissa Sparks Stevens.  She married William 
Wooten January 31, 1871 in Marion County, GA, son of Simon Wooten and 
Elizabeth Roach.  He was born November 10, 1835 in GA, and died January 16, 
1888 in Dawson, GA.

 

Children of this union were:

RICHARD CLARKE6 WOOTEN, b. 16 October 1871, Dawson, GA; d. 16 February 1897, 
Marion County, GA.

WILLIE ADEL WOOTEN, b. 16 July 1873, Dawson, Terrell County, GA; m. NORMAN C. 
MILLER, 06 August 1896, Buena Vista, Marion County, GA.

MARY ELIZABETH WOOTEN, b. 08 October 1875, Dawson, Terrell County, GA; d. 23 
November 1954, Marion County, GA.

ANNA HOWARD WOOTEN, b. 12 September 1878, Dawson, Terrell County, GA; m. 
PHILIP LANIER, 26 October 1899, Buena Vista, Marion County, 

GA.

WILLIAM COUNCIL6 WOOTEN was born 25 May 1880 in Dawson, GA, and died 15 April 
1942.  He married ELLA DRANE LEONARD 15 June 1904 in Talbottom, GA, daughter 
of RODERICK LEONARD and MATTIE MATHEWS.  She was born 26 July 1882, and died 
27 December 1942 in Buena Vista Cemetery.

SARAH ELMINA6 WOOTEN was born 19 March 1884 in Dawson, GA, and died 22 June 
1955.  She married A. CLARKE DUNCAN 09 March 1911 in Buena Vista, Marion 
County, GA.  He was born 16 April 1874 in Marion County, GA, and died 26 
August 1957.
