July 10 1897
Ebenezer church met in coffernce
first open the doors of the church 
invited visiting brothers seats with us
any miss Laneous bisness  non
any immorale conduct non
any thing that come under the head of unchristian conduct non
on the 14 Emma Rabun and Miss Ida Ouns (Owens?) united themselves with the 
church
on the 15 was Baptised
on the 15th Miss Guiy (Guy?) united her self with the church and Batisin her 
was pasting (?) on the second Sunday in August
No other bisness being before conference

August 7/97
Ebenezer Baptist church met in conference
Open the door of the church
invited visiting breathing seats with us 
call for any acknowledgement
any immorale conduct
no other bisness being befor the conference
Brother Griffin vacated his seat and
Brother R M Rany was elected Mod (moderator) and the church went into the call 
of a shepard for the year 1898
Brother Griffin was put in nomination and elected by aclamation
apoited a comity to wait on ?? Griffin of his election
he came in and stated to the breathing that he new no reason why he could not 
serve us then for the year 1898

Brother Griffin resumed his seat 
went into electin of messengers to the asionation (association) 
the follin Brothers was elected

R M Raney chrmn of a commity on diciplin maid the following charges aganst 
Sister (Mary) Tatum
comiting adultering and moved to with draw fellow ship from her and the church 
acted liken wise
Charged Brother H T Tatum of unchristen conduct
a comititon (commission?) apointed consisted of Bro J S Womack  A T(?) Hart  J 
J Ouns (Owens)
No other bisness being befor confer ajurned

Ebenezer Bapts church met in conference

invited visiting breathing seats with us
the comity that was appointed on brother H J Tatum maid their report and was 
released from any furher duty
call for any acknowledgement
brother Dayer(?) stated to the church the reason why he was not at the last 
conference and was excused
call for any unchristen conduct
no ther bisness being befor the confernce ajurned

Novemebr 13/97
Ebenezer Baptis church met in conference
first oppened the door of the church for members nom
invited visiting breathing seats with us
call for missalanius bisness
charge brother glover for not attending
conference appointed brother C M Raney and J S Womack comity to see brother 
and report at next conference
Brother Tatum case was taken up and continued on the next conference 
the members requested to see him and report at the next conference
the case of sister Hellen Salmans(?) ailes (alias?) Pity was taken up for to 
be restored to member ship and was not rejected for wont of proof of her being 
a restored member with the church and instructed the church clerk to write for 
further information
No other bisness being befor the confer ajurned

Read for oile(?) and taken up collection
