I chased that Frederick for about two years, and I think it's a different one. That Frederick is two years younger and is a lawyer. I have a letter written from that Frederick to his sister, Maggie. As best I know, my Frederick didn't have a sister Maggie." Earlier today Susan West posted some material regarding Frederick West in these minutes. It seems that Frederick West's wife, Mary Jane was a daughter of Thomas Allen and Dolly (Murray) Allen. This family was the subject of some work I did a couple of years ago. It is surprising how things connect up sometime. My work on the Allen family, can be found at http://www.rootsweb.com/~gaschley/migrate.htm#indian Also, at the end of that story will be found information supplied by Susan West at that time. Susan has amassed a significant amount of material on this West family and it can be viewed on this webpage. I would invite you to have a look. http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/w/e/s/Susan-K-West-Norman/WEBSITE- 0001/UHP-0058.html Phillippi February the 4 1854 Church in Conference and Brother Battle modreator. open a daur for the Reception of members and Recived none.
