Filed in Office, Jan. 27th 1891 T.B. Myers, Ordy. Recorded on minutes pages 385 & 6, Jany 27th 1891 T.B. Myers, Ordy. Georgia Schley County To the Ordinary of said county The undersigned, a citizen of and residing in the state of Georgia & said county of Schley and of lawful age and next of kin to Thomas Cockrell formerly of said county who departed this life on the 29th day of March 1868, residing at the time of his death in said county of Schley worth about one thousand dollars in lands in said state. Your petitioner would show that the said Thomas Cockrell made a will and by items three & five of said will, he willed & bequeathed to Sanford M. Cockrell and Flora F. Lindsay, lot of land No. 96 in the 30th district said county and fifty acres to be cut off from the east corner of said lot No. 105--share and share alike after the death of his said wife Frances but that during the lifetime of his said wife it should be for the support & maintenance of his said wife Frances & Flora F. Lindsay & her children. That Sanford M. Cockrell and ?????? his portion(?) and will not take any share this will. That Frances Cockrell wife of Thomas Cockrell departed this life on the 25th day Dec 1890, that the said Thomas Cockrell appointed Harrison W. Cockrell executor under said will but that there was no provision made in said will for said executor to dispose of said real estate left to the said Sanford M. Cockrell and petitioner would show that there is no representation on said estate & would show to the court that she desires a citation to issue in her behalf calling upon all persons interested to show cause at the proper time and place why letters of administration for said estate of Thomas Cockrell should not be granted to her. Further your petitioner showeth that she is qualified to become such administrator and will faithfully administer said Thomas Cockrell's estate. Flora F. Lindsay, Jr. Atty W.H.
