Name appears in a List made on a sheet which bears the following printed heading: "Post Register, Albany, Ga.*" List dated Not dated Date: May 16 Remarks: * supposed to be a list of prisoners paroled at Albany, Ga. In a letter dated June 1, 1865, Brig. Gen. E.M. McCook states: "The rebel troops with all public property, in the District of Florida were surrendered to me by Maj. Gen. Samuel Jones on the 10th of May 1865. The number paroled and already reported is 7200 and doubtless will reach 8000."
