For eleven hundered dollars and same for 1909 & 1910. Sworn under my hand and official seal of office this the 28 day of Sept. 1910. P.E. Taylor, Ordinary Schley County, Ga. Ex officio clerk, court of Ordinary. Additional Comments: I believe this Nancy E. Morris Dupriest to be the same Nancy Morris that is found in the household of Wm. H. White in 1850 and 1860. Her age in all census tend to place her birth about 1848, which fits with her stated date of birth here of Nov. 5, 1847. However in the 1870 census, she lists her place of birth as AL. All others would indicate GA. The 1870 Schley Co. census has her married to Robert M. Dupriest, and William H White and wife Elizabeth are living with them in advanced years. Both of the Whites are buried at Philippi in Schley Co., in close proximity to their residence there. Nancy E. Morris had an older sister, Mary Morris, born, according to census about 1841. Although I can not prove it, I believe this Mary Morris to be the same Mary Morris who married Anthony R. Murray, eldest son of John S.C. Murray and after his death married Hamilton Henry Hill, all of northern Taylor County. If anyone can help in offering proof, I would be very grateful.
