Johnson, M.D. CLERK SUPERIOR COURT CHAS. D. CARTER, CLERK ELLAVILLE, GA OCTOBER 9, 1924 Mr. Frank Brown Jacksonville, Fla. Dear Sir; In answwer to yours of a recent date as to Mrs. Andrew J. Glover's marriage to Andrew J. Glover, I find no record of their marriage in my office, for some reason the old stub book has been done away with, and whoever performed the ceremony must have failed to return the license. Mr. J.W. Dozier is the only resident of the county that I have been able to find that was a witness to their marriage, and he does not remember the date, most of the old people of her age have either died or moved away that might have been a witness to her marriage. You might ask Mrs. Glover who besides Mr. Dozier witnessed her marriage and we could then find out if they are living. Mr. and Mrs, Glover lived in this county and raised a family to all grown before they left here and there is no question about their being legally married, but we can't find witnesses as required as per your statement. I think she is entitled to a pension and I am sure there are many others who would be willing to make a statement that they are of the same opinion. I should be glad to furnish the affadavits as you brequest, but it seems impossible. Yours very truly, C.R. Tondee, Ord'y Schley County, Ga.
