MARY GUY, PENSION OF. Law Number: No. 104. Full Title: A Resolution providing for the payment of the pension due Mrs. Mary Guy, at the time of her death, to the ordinary of Schley county, for the use of such persons as may be entitled thereto by reason of service rendered said deceased in her last illness, and to such persons as furnished food, clothing, medical attention, and burial necessities to said pensioner. Whereas, Mrs. Mary Guy, of the county of Schley, was, prior to her death, which occurred on March 13, 1904, duly and lawfully on the pension rolls of Georgia, as an indigent widow of a Confederate soldier; and, [Sidenote: Pension [Illegible Text] Mrs. Mary Guy] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Page: 744 Whereas, Her pension for said year was due and payable at and prior to her said death; and, Whereas, A warrant was duly issued to her for said pension by the proper authorities of the pension department, and was not collected by her by reason of death, and said warrant was therefore returned; therefore be it Resolved, by the House, the Senate concurring, That the sum of sixty ($60.00) dollars be, and the same is, hereby appropriated with which to pay the pension due said Mrs. Mary Guy at the time of her death, and that the proper officials of the State be, and are, hereby directed to pay to the ordinary of said county of Schley, for the use of such persons as may be entitled thereto by reason of services rendered said deceased in her last illness, and to such persons as furnished food, clothing, medical attention and burial necessities, to said deceased pensioner, the balance remaining if any, of said sum, after paying said amounts, shall be returned by said ordinary, to be covered in the State treasury; be it further Resolved, That all laws and resolutions contrary to this be, and are, hereby repealed.
